This color is so bam that we only needed a few things to get the point across. The dip-dyed stool is pretty killer, and I love that little lacy something-or-another. But that neon quartz?! That thing is kuh-razy. I can’t get over it! And I just think the color against that gray background is perfect. Red and delicious and perfect! This color is killing it for me right now. And it’s an awesome color that can go with either summer brights or the coziness of fall, yeah? I’d love to tuck my laptop into that gorgeous tomato-colored bag and tote it to a coffee shop to do my work for the day. And remember the whole craze of a gorgeous red wall in your kitchen? I did that in one of my NYC apartments, and even though the fad died I still love it. Are you guys into this juicy red? Where have you been seeing it lately?

This entire installment of Brighten Up is all because of that bike! You guys, ever since I can remember I’ve wanted a cruiser bike that cool. I mean, the whitewall tires and the matching seat/handlebar combo and the front basket platform are just too much for me to take! Looks like I need to save my duckets for that one. I’m savoring the last weeks of summer. I love those days when the sky is a perfect blue, like Crayola decided on the color. Add some unabashed yellow and you’ve got yourself a perfect color combo. And by the way — does anyone here have a Vespa? Mr. Lovely has been begging for one forever, and I have to say I’m starting to think that it would be pretty fun to toodle around on one.
