Update: We have a winner! Congrats to Aileen for winning a box of supplies from For the Makers! Big thanks to all who entered.makers

Remember that whole post I wrote about how I consider myself a Maker? It’s for that reason and about a zillion more that I’m beyond stoked to bring you a pretty awesome giveaway today. Have you heard of For the Makers? If you haven’t, get on it yesterday! It’s a subscription service and website that makes creating so, so easy. You can sign up and each month they’ll send you a box of goodies to make specific projects, complete with instructions and all of the materials you’ll need. Cool, huh? They recently featured an interview with yours truly that you can read here.

They also recently sent me a mixed box of materials for funsies, and I got to create anything I wanted from the contents. My brain almost exploded. I mean, look at all of this fun stuff!

In the end, I decided to decorate that killer brass cuff. I glued on some pretty elastic and a chain of stones, and then went to town decorating it with these awesome vintage rhinestones. They had some shapes in there that I’d never seen! This is going to be a new fave for sure.

  3. Lennox Flower Brooch. I would never have thought of making my own flower brooch, but it’s so easy and cheers up any plain jacket or top.

  4. I’d love to make the Malachite Rope Necklace! It’s super cute abd it’s a piece I could definitely incorporate into my wardrobe. It also uses techniques I haven’t even thought about doing.

  8. I love crafts, and I love stamps, so my favorite is The Elaine. Here i Denmark we don’t have all the exiting stuff to make stamps ourselfs, as you have, so that woud be nice to try.

  9. For the Makers is such a fun idea! I always liked doing little craft kits when I was really little, and these are like the more advanced version πŸ™‚ The constellation tote looks like it’d be fun to try! The bracelet you made is absolutely lovely!
