photographer jason lee

Toodling around on the internet the other day, I came across a photography blog that had me instantly smitten.  The photographer is Jason Lee, and the subjects, for the most part, are his two impossibly adorable daughters, Kristin and Kayla.  What’s so endearing about this blog, though, is not only Jason’s fantastic photography, but also his ingenius creativity and photo editing skills.  Put it all together, and here’s a little taste of what you get.

See what I mean?  Don’t you just wanna spend a day in their house as a fly on the wall?  And I can only imagine Kristin and Kayla  looking at these photos as they grow up – talk about the coolest memories ever, caught on film.  Jason also takes lovely photos of weddings, engagements, and the like — go here to see some more of his beautiful work.  And just because they’re so great, I’ll leave you with one more of my favorites.  xoxo

take me to the beach

It’s been way too long.  If you took me to the beach today, here’s what I’d wear.

A Victoria’s Secret bright yellow retro one-piece, with a J. Crew crisp white men’s shirt {4} as a beach cover-up.  I’d shade my eyes with a straw fedora {2} and some killer Ray Ban aviators {1}.  I’d toss sunscreen, snacks, and a stack of glossy mags into my roomy straw tote bag {3}, and toss on some gold bangles {4} for good measure.

Now, who’s coming to pick me up?  I’ll bring snacks for you, too.  xoxo

travel // indianapolis, in

This is my first time in Indianapolis, and so far — no complaining here.  The sun was shining as we rolled into town, the hotel greeted us with hot apple cider, and there’s a pretty great mall a few blocks away.  What else does a girl need?  xoxo

pretty little picture

This little tour we’re on seems to be taking us to all of the places where Spring has not yet sprung — I feel like we’re following the cold!  After a brief respite from the chilly weather this weekend (thanks, Memphis!), I decided that this week’s Pretty Little Pictures should be dedicated to Spring.  Enjoy.  xoxo
